Thank God it's Monday
By Paul Bartlett
Thank God It’s Monday is Paul Bartlett’s first book - a challenge to stop living for the weekend and start living with purpose during the week.
So many people hang out for Friday and live for the weekend and the church is not immune. Too many people see Sunday as God’s day and forget about Monday through Saturday. TGIM is an encouragement to live out your faith every day of the week and a call for the church to be more outward looking.
“Paul Bartlett has issued a bold declaration to shake believers out of their comfort zone so that they can embrace their calling outside the four walls of the church. The body of Christ has so much potential to affect change in the world around them; everyday activities should be seen as gateways to show others the love of Christ. Sunday morning services should be a celebration of the work that has been done Monday through Saturday. Thank God it’s Monday is a breath of fresh air that every Christian needs to hear.”
